3D Grand Piano Sound

The UP 405 features an innovative 3-way speaker system with a total of 6 high-quality VISATON speakers (2 each bass, midrange and tweeter), whose signal flow is controlled and balanced by a digital sound processor. The sophisticated alignment of the loudspeakers results in a sound impression that approximates that of a real concert grand piano.

GEWA Concert Pianist II Keyboard

GEWA Concert Pianist II Keyboard

Our proprietary Concert Pianist II keyboard gives you the finest control over touch response via mechanical pressure point simulation - even in very quiet passages. The zone-weighted hammered keyboard is equipped with wooden elements and a pleasant Ivory Touch surface. Real sound - real playing feel.

User Calibration Tool

The high-quality keyboard has an additional great feature: the User Calibration Tool allows you to fine-tune the sensitivity of each individual key, according to your preferences.

Grand Piano Ambient Simulation

the perfection of a piano sample.

Natural sampling in perfection.  The Grand Piano Ambient simulation takes the realism of our high-resolution samples to a whole new level. This is because, in addition to the actual piano sounds, the UP 405 has additional samples of ambient noises that a grand piano produces when played.  This allows you to integrate the sound of moving keys and pedals or the vibrations of resonating strings into your playing, for example, to create a uniquely realistic concert hall atmosphere.

Latest Technology & extended Connectivity

Latest Technology & extended Connectivity

The latest DSP and memory technology enables optimal sound generation that transports and implements all facets of the high-resolution samples.

The integrated Bluetooth module not only allows you to play music from your smartphone through the piano's speaker system but is also fully compatible with learning apps such as Flowkey, Skoove or Simply Piano.

At its core, it's all about quality.

To ensure that we can meet this demand at all times and without compromise, we develop and manufacture
GEWA Made in Germany instruments at our premises.

In Germany. In Saxony.

Our digital pianos are designed and developed on site by our expert teams and manufactured by qualified professionals. This is where ultra-modern production to the latest standards meets traditional craftsmanship in instrument manufacture. The best of both worlds.

Vision becomes reality.

In the field of electronic musical instruments, such as digital pianos, but also our innovative e-drums, the GEWA development department is supported here, in the so-called Silicon Saxony, by a network of renowned technology companies from areas such as mobility, space travel, biotechnology and IT. Together with our partners, we research and develop the technology of tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

Tradition becomes the present.

Loving craftsmanship at the highest level is what our workshops in the Vogtland region of Saxony stand for. For decades, masterful string instruments and award-winning instrument cases have been developed and built here. Our digital pianos successfully carry on this heritage.

EVERY instrument is played and checked in detail by a professional pianist directly before delivery.

You will hear, see and feel the difference.
