Matomo

This website uses the open source web analytics service, Matomo.

With the help of Matomo, we are able to collect and analyse data about the use of our website by website visitors. This allows us to find out, among other things, when which page views were made and from which region they came. We also collect various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browsers and operating systems used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).

The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. Insofar as a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) as defined by the TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

IP anonymisation

We use IP anonymization for the analysis with Matomo. In this case, your IP address is shortened before analysis so that it can no longer be clearly assigned to you.

Hosting

We host Matomo exclusively on our own servers, so that all analysis data remains with us and is not passed on.

If you call up Internet pages of our Internet presence that are provided with such a plugin, a connection to the Facebook servers is established and the plugin is displayed on the Internet page by notifying your browser. This transmits to the Facebook server which of our Internet pages you have visited. If you are logged in as a Facebook member, Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. When using the plugin functions (e.g. clicking the "Like" button, submitting a comment), this information is also assigned to your Facebook account, which you can only prevent by logging out before using the plugin.

Data protection - Google +1 With the help of the Google +1 button, you can publish information worldwide. Via the Google +1 button, you and other users receive personalised content from Google and its partners. Google stores both the information that you have given +1 for a content and information about the page you were viewing when you clicked +1. Your +1s may be displayed as notices along with your profile name and photo in Google services, such as search results or your Google profile, or elsewhere on websites and ads on the Internet.
Google records information about your +1 activities in order to improve Google services for you and others.
To use the Google +1 button, you need a globally visible, public Google profile, which must contain at least the name chosen for the profile. This name is used in all Google services. In some cases, this name may also replace another name you used when sharing content through your Google Account. The identity of your Google profile may be displayed to users who know your email address or have other identifying information about you.
In addition to the uses explained above, the information you provide will be used in accordance with the applicable Google privacy policy.
Google may publish aggregate statistics about users' +1 activities or share these statistics with its users and partners, such as publishers, advertisers or affiliated websites. For example, Google may tell a publisher: "10 percent of users who +1'd this page are in New York." Processing of personal data

At some points on our website, we offer you the opportunity to contact us or to use certain services (e.g. newsletter subscription, B2B store registration). We use the personal data transmitted in this context only for the one purpose for which it was provided to us. We do not pass on your personal data, including your home address and e-mail address, to third parties without your express consent, which can be revoked at any time. Excluded from this are our service partners who require the transmission of data for order processing (e.g. the shipping company commissioned with the delivery and the credit institution commissioned with the payment processing). In these cases, however, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the minimum required. The dealer search service is operated with the consent of the disclosure of address data by the respective GEWA partner.

We only collect, process and use your personal data if you have expressly consented to this beforehand. You can revoke this consent at any time by sending a message to our data protection officer.

Security of personal data

In order to ensure the confidentiality of communication with you, we use the so-called SSL encryption. According to the current state of knowledge, the 128-bit encryption possible with this is to be regarded as secure. This security level is achieved by all browsers of the younger generation. Under certain circumstances, you should update the browser on your PC.
