The PP-2 keeps things beautifully simple. Its minimalist three-button interface provides intuitive control, while the optional matching stand turns the compact piano into an elegant setup designed to complement your living space.
Edit and save playing and sound settings conveniently via your smartphone or tablet. With the GEWA Piano Remote App, you have detailed access to sounds, effects, keyboard parameters, metronome, layer and split settings, the recording function, the constantly growing library of the Lesson function, and much more.
Define your favourite sounds for quick and direct access. With the Favorite function, you can freely assign and name four memory locations via the GEWA Piano Remote App. They are stored directly in the piano and can be called up at any time, even without connecting to the app, at the touch of a button on the favourite keys.
The PP-2’s full-range speaker system delivers a rich, balanced sound that brings every note to life. Powered by two 10-watt speakers, it provides a clear and natural listening experience — whether you play it on a table or complete your setup with one of the matching stands.
The PP-2 is equipped with our proprietary GEWA Smart Touch keyboard. When developing this 88-note hammer action keyboard, we took great care to ensure that it was perfectly matched to the sound samples used.
The high-quality keyboard has an additional great feature: the User Calibration Tool allows you to fine-tune the sensitivity of each individual key, according to your preferences.
In keeping with our philosophy, all GEWA pianos, regardless of the model series, are equipped with the Hamburg Grand Piano sound. These are high-resolution samples of a Steinway D274 concert grand, whose sounds we have recorded down to the last nuance without artificially influencing them. Listen to the PP-2 through headphones and you will have the same sound experience as with the high-quality UP models.
The integrated Bluetooth module not only allows you to connect to the GEWA Piano Remote App. The extended audio and midi functionality also allows you to play music from your smartphone through the piano's speaker system and is fully compatible with learning apps such as Flowkey, Skoove or Simply Piano.
The entire concept of the PP-2, from the vague idea to the detailed layout, was developed and designed by our development teams in Adorf, Saxony, Germany. The same experts still regularly supervise the work in our own production facility in China.
High-quality products, whether instruments, bags or accessories, are and always have been our mission.
But they must also be affordable and accessible to all.
The products of GEWA German Engineered are 100% conceived and designed by our experts in Germany. Know-how, experience and a constantly open ear for the needs of music creators characterise the work of the development teams.
Ideas are then turned into instruments in cooperation with partner and GEWA-owned production facilities all over the world. These locations enable us to use production techniques that are not available in this form elsewhere.
Our specialists regularly visit all the workshops to train the staff and to make sure that the production is carried out according to our ideas in all respects.
This enables us to guarantee a fair price with consistently high production quality. But that is not quite enough for us.
That's why every single instrument is put through its paces in our service workshops before delivery. Only in this way can we be sure that GEWA German Engineered is always the right choice.

First, please check that the piano is switched on and the volume control is turned up. Please note that the speaker system will automatically turn off if headphones or a headphone adapter are connected.
First, please check that the pedal cable is properly connected to the console and plug it in (again) if necessary.
Please note that the GEWA Piano Remote App is currently not supported by all GEWA digital pianos. You can find detailed instructions on how to establish a connection in the user manual of your digital piano. If you still cannot set up connection, please contact us at keyssupport@gewamusic.com.
